Staff-Assisted Home Hemodialysis

At Local HomeHemo, we specialize in staff-assisted home hemodialysis (SAHHD) — providing licensed healthcare professionals (state specific) to perform dialysis treatments in the patient’s home, up to five days a week. Our model is designed for patients who are unable to self-administer treatment or lack a trained care partner, yet still qualify for home-based dialysis under commercial insurance plans.

We partner with nephrology practices, hospital systems, and kidney centers to:

Perform hemodialysis in the home

Ensure continuity of care for high-risk or non-adherent patients

Support smoother transitions from inpatient, rehab, or in-center dialysis

Reduce avoidable hospitalizations and treatment gaps

Improve patient satisfaction, comfort, and quality of life

Align with value-based care and home-first strategies

Our clinical teams follow your care protocols, report treatment outcomes, and ensure regulatory and documentation compliance — so you can expand access to home dialysis without increasing operational burden. We are not replacing your home program but adding to it as an operational resource to help bring dialysis home.
