Position Overview:

Are you ready to advance your nursing career? Local HomeHemo is hiring passionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our innovative team! In this role, you’ll provide compassionate, professional in-home hemodialysis care, making a meaningful impact on clients’ lives. No prior dialysis experience is required—our extensive, hands-on training and mentorship will prepare you for success, including specialized fistula training from industry experts. Schedule:

● 5 days a week Monday-Friday.
● Based on 2:1 ratio patient load.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering treatments to clients within their homes, ensuring all procedures are performed safely and accurately.
  • Educating clients about treatment protocols, equipment usage, and best practices to promote confidence and independence.
  • Monitoring clients during and after treatments for any signs of complications, responding promptly and effectively as needed.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, coordinated care tailored to each client’s unique needs.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate client records to document progress, changes, and care provided.
  • Offering compassionate support to clients and their families, addressing concerns, and fostering a positive, reassuring environment.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Washington.
  • Demonstrated expertise in placing IVs, including managing complicated starts with confidence.
  • Prior experience in an acute care setting is preferred but not required.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients, caregivers, and the healthcare team.
  • Exhibit the ability to work independently, adapting to clients’ unique needs while maintaining professionalism.
  • Have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance to travel to clients’ homes.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States and pass a DSHS background check.
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Display a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain confidentiality of client information.
  • Be physically capable of lifting up to 25 pounds as part of routine care activities.
